In Quarter 2, I read the book <Pearl>, Kino found the pearl of the World, the pearl symbolized the American dream. The face of pearls, and other people around Kino sudden and devastating greed, like pearls, like scorpions and colonialism has become the embodiment of evil. It broke the Kino's son Coyotito represent innocence, destroyed the symbol of Indian culture and tradition of boat. Finally, the hero had to abandon the pearl, the act declared hero material and spiritual dreams shattered dream double. And <Pearl> is a good book.Friday, January 27, 2012
