Quarter 3

In Quarter 3, we celebrate Pi Day. Pi is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of  a circle's circumference to its diameter. π is approximately equal to 3.14159.π is an irrational number, which means that its value cannot be expressed as a fraction (such as 22/7); consequently its decimal representation never ends and never repeats.
Pi is found by a Chinese Man named Tzu Chongzhi in N & S Dynasty. He use another Chinese Man Liu Hui’s option, and found the first five digit of Pi, that is 3.14159.
Now, Pi is using for finding a circle’s Circumference, its area …
Real life example: A swimming pool is a circle; its radius is 10 meters, it is 2meters deep, and how many liters of water do the pool contains?
         V = 2πr x 2
         V = [2 (3.14) (10)] (2)
         V = 62.8 x 2
         V =125.6 liters
Answer: The pool could contain 125.6 liters of water.
